The Winter in Germany

It's the December 1st - and everywhere in Germany is snow. But it isn't always really nice. It's cold, usally about -5°C to -10°C and wet. First of all if you come into your house or your flat with the boots you used to go through the snow. The snow which is on the boots starts to thaw and than everything becomes wet. Wet, wet, wet. Usally I accidentally step into the thawed snow and my socks become wet too. That's so frustrating! And if you go outside you have to be careful because it's glossy everywhere and so it's the danger of slipping. But the snow also has a silver lining, believe it or not :D An this silver lining can you see on my pictures. Well, at least I think you can see it :D

Our garden is capped with a lot of snow.

A snowman. Of course he isn't made by myself :D But he's cute, isn't he? (:

The snow on the trees is glistening in the sun.

Me in front of a fir tree. Or something like this xD

This is my little sister. She loves, loves, loves snow. Like every other little children too (:

 It's a meadow in summer.

I'm cock-a-hoop xD

A snow crystal. But the picture is blurred.

That's me next to a thing I don't know xD

Actually it's a sea but it's so cold that he's frozen.

The sea again. Here you can see that just little parts of the see aren't frozen.

A way next to a beck with trees around it.

Again trees which are glistening because of the snow and the sun.

I took this and many other pictures in a park called "Austelpark."

I think this is a kind of ruin, also in the "Austelpark".

Great photos! I bet our friends from sunny southern countries are sooooo jealous for the snow.
